Regular access to healthy and nutritious food
Rajasthan Bal Kalyan Samiti runs residential schools in tribal areas among the deprived and underdeveloped areas of Rajasthan. Close to 360 underprivileged and orphan girls stay in these hostels. The beneficiaries are identified based on their family annual income. Along with quality education, the girls are provided nutritious food and holistic development to build their confidence and to promote overall growth. The menu is planned to provide the growing girls with adequate nutrition so that they can be healthy as well as engage in all the school activities. Rice, Rotis, Vegetables and different type of dals are generally part of the menu. Items like Poha and Dalia which are tasty and healthy are included. A nutritious meal is an important part of a child's life and no child can learn when hungry. Donate to this program and help a girl with the basic right to three meals a day.
