Extra suppport to enhance academic performance
SAATH runs Balghars that provide pre-school education and nutrition support to underprivileged children from the slums of Ahmedabad. The curriculum has been specially designed with the help of expert child psychologists in collaboration with teachers to improve and strengthen the quality of pre-school education components.
They are taught in the Montessori method which includes a lot of fun learning activities. When everyday living is a challenge, fun takes a backseat. It is very important for children to engage in fun events for holistic growth. Fun learning activities help the children from slums adapt faster as they do not have the exposure that regular kids have. These activities help them develop social confidence.
Donations made to this program support the cost of fun and learning activities for children. Donate to this program and help children enjoy the little celebrations.
