Sankara Eye Hospital is an ISO 9001 certified, state of the art multi-specialty eye hospital located at Pammal, a well-developed suburb of Chennai City. This hospital has been functioning as an exclusive eye care center with a singular vision of providing high-quality care to all segments of society, rich or poor. The Hospital offers nine specialty services (Cataract, Refractive, Cornea, Glaucoma, Retina, Orbit & Oculoplasty, Uvea, Neuro-Ophthal, Pediatric Ophthal) and support services like Contact Lens, Prosthetic eye, and Low Vision Clinic. This hospital runs a charitable eye care program for the poor under the name 'Kannoli Vision Saver' project. State-of-the-art outpatient facilities exist for examination of all eye disorders and a team of highly skilled Optometry technicians and Ophthalmologists provide personalized and professionally competent care. The three-storied hospital has 140 beds, 20 independent bath-attached rooms, and a modern hygienic kitchen to cater nutritious food for the patients. The hospital has four sophisticated and fully equipped operation theaters and a team of very highly committed and talented staff apart from 12 senior eye surgeons. The hospital currently carries out an average of 60 surgeries every day and has performed over 250,000 vision-restoring surgeries till now.

Sankara Eye Hospital conducts rural outreach eye screening camps through its 'Kannoli-Vision Saver Project' in the districts of Kanchipuram, Thiruvallur and Chittoor districts and performs free cataract surgery for eligible patients. The program covers free treatment, medicines, accommodation, food, nursing care as well as transport to and from their hometowns. Sankara Eye Hospital performs up to 50 free surgeries a day. There are many unfortunate people who suffer from blindness that is completely curable due to their poverty. By donating to this program, you can help people like Chengiah get their vision back.

Remittances towards charities of your choice will directly be credited to the duly authorised bank account of the relevant charity. These remittances are never received, credited or stored in the bank accounts of CherryTin or Give India. CherryTin and Give India only provide donors a platform through which the appropriate charity can be reached.

All remittances made to a charity chosen by you will be routed through a third-party payment processor. The payment processor fee may vary from provider to provider.

In addition to the payment processor fee, CherryTin shall charge an agency fee of 10% and Give India shall charge a fee of 3%, towards services provided. All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes.

Remittances can be made solely through online payment methods like credit or debit card, e-wallet or net banking. Payments made through cash, cheques, cryptocurrency and demand drafts will not be accepted.

Donations from outside India (including through international credit cards) can only be made to those charities that are duly registered under, and comply with the requirements of, the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act, 2010, as amended from time to time, rules made thereunder, and such other laws as may be applicable.

The charity to which donations have been made will issue a donation receipt.
