#1. Yami Gautam & Aditya Dhar

This Bollywood couple tied the knot earlier in the year in an absolutely picture-perfect ceremony. With a guestlist that included only immediate family, small was an understatement for this wedding. The venue was Yami’s farmhouse in Mandi, Himachal Pradesh and the couple had their pheras in the open with the magnificient mountains making a perfect backdrop. The couple chose to go very traditional with their clothes, décor and the vibe, and the ceremony ended up looking as beautifully Indian as can be. This is why they are on the top of the list of most inspiring celebrity weddings.

#2. Diya Mirza & Vaibhav Rekhi

The beautiful couple had an intimate wedding celebration that made headlines for all the right reasons. They chose to have a sustainable and waste-free function that was attended by only those closest to the couple. There were many new aspects to their wedding, including the fact that they had a woman priest officiating the ceremony. There was no food wastage, no use of plastics and all the décor was done from locally sourced materials. The end result was a celebrity wedding that was aspirational for all the right reasons.

#3. Miheeka Bajaj and Rana Duggabati

This Telegu meets Marwari wedding was a much-talked about affair across the country. Actor Rana Duggabati married Hyderabad-based entrepreneur Miheeka in a small ceremony with a guest list of just 30 people. The bride wore her mother’s wedding lehenga on the big day and the wedding décor was inspired by the Thota Vaikuntam artwork. The entire venue was transformed into an enchanted forest and the effect was simply magical.

#4. Princess Beatrice & Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi

If you had any doubts about having a small wedding, then it will be some solace to know that a legit princess too decided to have a small wedding during the pandemic. Princess Beatrice tied the knot to her sweetheart at The Royal Chapel of All Saints in Windsor. The guest list only included close family, and included Queen Elizabeth and Price Phillip. The venue was decorated with lavish florals. The bride wore a vintage dress combined with her grandmother, Queen Elizabeth’s tiara. It was one of the world’s most publicized weddings in that year and it made a small ceremony look pretty grand.

#5. Anushka Sharma & Virat Kohli

This couples made small celebrity weddings popular even before it became mandated by the pandemic. They tied the knot in 2017 in a super-secret and super-intimate wedding in Italy in an 800-tear-old village converted into a villa. From the most breathtaking outfits to décor that just transported you into a whimsical fantasy, every single detail of their wedding was well-planned and memorable. The couple chose to invite only close family and friends so it wouldn’t turn into a circus.
