Sweet Whisk specializes in homemade cup cakes ,pastries , a variety of Breakfast/Tea Time Loaves ,Desserts etc. Over the years I’ve baked for fun and also for family and friends and the love for baking still continues . I kept listening to my family and friends who always forced me to start baking from home for a larger audience and here I am.
We at Sweet Whisk believe in staying away from Fondant Covered Cakes and usually try and talk to people to opt out of fondant and this is simply because the cake gets way too sweet with fondant covered and many a times people just peel them off before having the cake (so much of a waste), secondly, they are very expensive and also fondant making uses loads of gelatin which is non-vegetarian. Vegetarian fondants are priced even higher. Moreover, people are getting more health conscious and do not prefer anything too sweet and so the fondant trend is now less in demand among many who are health conscious , therefore we work on a lot of fresh cream cakes and the cream used at Sweet Whisk is a Non Dairy Cream made from Soya. However, we do work on various themes where minimum fondant can be used.
